Imran Khan unveils party manifesto for General Election 2018

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Monday vowed to make a welfare state in Pakistan as he unveiled his party’s manifesto for the General Election 2018. While addressing a ceremony to present the party’s manifesto in the federal capital, Imran stressed that social justice and rules are the basis of progress for a country. He said, “An easy solution to the problems that Pakistan is faced with does not exist. No one should assume that we will be able to easily implement this manifesto.” He added that the national debt had significantly increased in the past ten years. As Pakistan announced 25 July to be the date for holding General Elections in the country, all eyes have turned to cricket star-turned-politician Imran Khan, who has expressed hope of winning the polls. The general elections are largely expected to pit the PML-N against its main rival, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party led by Khan. Elections 2018: Imran Khan all set to hold three rallies in hometown Mianwali today

The rallies will be carried out at different venues at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm for which, preparations have been completed as the stages have been made while the chairs have also been placed. Party sources said that PTI chief Imran Khan will address the rallies. Earlier, Chairman Imran Khan had decided to postpone his Islamabad rally and wind up his  election campaign in Lahore . Imran is to hold rallies in 14 constituencies of Lahore and then wrap up his campaign. The PTI chairman will address election campaign of Wajid Azeem on July 18 at 10:00pm. He will address three rallies on July 19: Asad Khokhar’s constituency at 07:00pm, Karamat Khokar’s constituency at 08:00pm and Ijaz Khokhar’s constituency at 09:00pm. On July 21, the PTI chairman will campaign for Hammad Azhar, Dr Yasmin Rashid, Nauman Qaiser, Jamshed Cheema, Abdul Aleem Khan and Shoaib Siddiqui in their constituencies.
